12 oz bottle. This unassuming brew is nearly perfect. Just the right taste of coffee and molasses pair perfectly with some smokey malted goodness. Just wish my bottle had WC on it instead of what I got. SlovakSniper (5561) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - APR 30, 2015
355 mL bottle. Pours black with walnut hues and a thin head of off white. Aroma is chocolate, subtle smoke, dark fruits, leather and deep caramel, a little applesauce on the finish and some minty hops. Lightly sweet maltiness balanced with a little roast. Moderate plus body and low to average carbonation. A nice big English type porter. Very good. trapped (3483) - New York, TURKEY - MAR 6, 2015
Draught @ Albion. Dark brown with reddish tint, small beige creamy head, light coffee aroma, low carbonation, coffee-caramel taste, medium finish with slight alcohol aftertaste. Great porter! cfrancis (3535) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 3, 2015
Pours thin black with a small white fizz that dissolves to a ring. Aroma is slightly fruity, smoked ham and light coffee. Taste is light on the palate with slight smokiness and fruit with some chocolate sweetness. Very nice.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours black with tan head that doesn’t last too long. Nose is bittersweet chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is more roasted malt and chocolate notes. Very balanced and smooth. Bitterness on the finish is just right. Creamy-ish mouthfeel. Hard to stop sipping. jksipa (1004) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 4, 2015
Bottle from the LCBO. Dark cola colour with just a small tan sheet of head that is quickly gone. Nose is smoke, espresso, toffee and chocolate with some plum and cherry. Bitter chocolate and and coffee throughout with only a light sweet caramel backing. Some tartness in the middle through the finish and a smokiness present throughout. Medium full slick mouth with average carbonation and a dry finish. Lots of nice layers. sudomorph (1181) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 30, 2015

Bottle from the LCBO. Dark orange-brown with a thick tan head and a small bit of sediment. Aroma is interesting - dark coffee, bit of woodsmoke, earthy hops poking through, and a slight sour tone. Flavour follows - coffee, smoke & dark chocolate up front; dry roast, semi-bitter hops, and a bit of sourness in the finish. I’m honestly not sure if the sour notes are supposed to be there, but I’m not complaining, as it works well and adds some nice complexity. A really fine beer.
