Raspberry-like aroma. Deep wine-like red color. Winey-juicy, framboise-esqu flavor. A bit like juicy-juice.

Draft @ Hopcat in GR...sampled off of my wife’s glass. Pour was a bright, almost neon burgundy color with a large pinkish-purple head. Looks like it will be very sweet but ultimately eases that notion away. Nose is all wheat and blueberry with not much else to mention. Body is crisp, flavor has a very nice light wheat component with the blueberries complimenting nicely. A very good, simple, sessionable brew. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Tap at hopcat. Purple red pour with white head. Sparking. Aroma of blueberry, grass and lemon zest. Flavor of tart blueberry, rye and light citrus. Very appealing and nice. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 13, 2009

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #33 of 90. Cask at Arcadia in Battle Creek. Pours bright raspberry red. Mild carbonation, fairly smooth, fruity clean finish. Refreshing to say the least...and I believe I did. Silphium (3198) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - MAR 9, 2010
5th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Deep purple body, thin off-white head. Biting grassy, fruity nose. Grainy, grassy, spicy body, with firm, tart blueberry, although not very sweet. Light bitter finish. b3shine (9138) - Indiana, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Draft to taster at Arcadia in Kalamazoo. Looks solid; a hazy amberish orange with white lacing. Smells of yeast and blueberries. Tastes like it smells, but more balanced, and with a bit of rye as well. Pleasant on the palate. A solid fruit ale. smcolw (617) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 21, 2009
Think unsoured Framboise. The color pinkish orange and cloudy.
The smell has creamy malt elements, Mild sweet nose.
The flavor is sweet with a fruitiness that I associate with raspberries (what does a Roggen Berry taste like?). Unlike a typical Framboise, there is no corresponding tartness to provide balance. Moderate body with a soft level of carbonation. Moderately sweet finish.
