COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In honor of our adventurous friends at Sky Dive Inc. in Hastings, Michigan, we crafted a truly adventurous brew in Sky High Rye. A West Coast-style Pale Ale with rye malt, Sky High Rye boasts a massive floral aroma of resinous hops. The hops contribute flavor notes of lemons, peaches, and pine needles, combined with the sweet, malty flavors of toffee and bread. Rye adds a pleasant peppery, spicy note like a fresh slice of pumpernickel bread. Very well-rounded and very drinkable, Sky High Rye will surely inspire adventure in all who taste it.
This West Coast-style Pale Ale is brewed with eighty percent English barley malts and twenty percent rye malt. It boasts a massive floral aroma of resinous hops, contributing notes of lemons, peaches and pine needles and is anchored by the sweet malty flavors of toffee and freshly baked pumpernickel bread.

Light golden color with a tall, lasting cream colored head. Mild, may I say disappointing so, aromas. Hint of rye, light grass and hint of malt. Bits of orange and citrus. Not bad, just not there. Light flavors follow. No real feel from the rye. Some mild rye components mingle with pale grains and mild citrus. Obviously plenty of proteins as the head is very thick and meringue like. Seems watery and weak. 2/10

This beer didn’t cut it, grassy aroma, not much flavor and a really soapy looking head. At least they they the style right.....It was a Pale ale.

Poured into shaker a hazy gold with small short lasting head with minimal lace. Aroma was rye malts and floral. In the taste the rye stood out with a bit of grass and spice. Aftertaste rememded me a bit of potato.

Pours a cloudy, murky yellow color with minimal head retention. It does have some lacing though. You can taste the rye here which is nice. The spicy notes come through at the end and the beer has a nice bite to it. A very solid rye beer!

[email protected] Hancock Tower, Chicago. Clear golden color, thin white head. Citric hop aroma. Balanced hoppy flavor with a dry finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not bad by itself, but an excellent pairing with brie cheese!

12oz can. Unfiltered bright orange-tan body. Steady foamy white head. A lot of Rye in the aroma, coupled with some earthy lemony hops. Brighter than most Rye beers, but kind of odd and unenjoyable still. Sticky sweet tones all over the place. I am really not fond of Rye 90% of the time. Kind of gross, not off, just not enjoyable at all.

12 oz can from my buddy czar, thanks mate. Pours a slightly veiled golden-straw with a thick, resilient white head. Aroma is dry potato, peppercorn, dust. Flavor is spicy, fruity, cereals, pepper. Finish is very spicy, pepper, mint, some herbs. A tad bit lemony, too. Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours hazy golden color with a 1-finger off-white head. Mild citrus hops aroma mixed with a peppery, grassy rye note. Body is medium and a touch oily. Brief, mildly dry finish. Grassy flavor mixed wit grapefruit hops. A peppery rye note at the back.
