Cask (backlog). Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready, floral, a bit sulphury with some nectar to it as well. Flavour is rather similar in an ok balance.

Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in July 2008. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear golden in colour with a thin white head. slight hint of vanilla fudge in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a golden sweetness with citric notes of lemon peel as well. Booming hop resins full in the mouth as the drying aftertaste comes through. Crisp green apple and barley sugar impart a pleasant sweetness in the finish. A cracking full bodied blond ale this from Archers and highly recommended.

27th May 2008. Smooth if dry ale. Lovely fruity profile - peach and orange. The lightest touch of malt. Very quaffable.

Cask Conditioned at Christian F, Odense
Hazy blond color; nice head. The aroma is mild, with some hop and apples. Grassy malt flavor, strong bitterness, light vegetables touch, and sweet nuts and ashes at the end. It doesn’t seem to be in prime conditions.

Amber with a small white head. Faint aroma of apple peel and grassy hops. Sweetish bland flavour with a little butterscotch and grassy hops.

I find it hard to judge these genuine cask beers, since I’m NOT and expert. Apart from that I’m never going to get totally familiar with the flat palate. But the taste and hobbynes of this one was nice - and you can drink it awsomely fast...

DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2009
Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Red amber domed with suds. You certainly get a full measure in this place. Nose has faint strawberry and pear fruit, mouth grass and pear, creamy malt, bread, vanilla and a touch of honey. Really sticks around with sweet bready malt and a slight nuttiness. Quite astringent hops in the finish. Hint of butter but not offputting. OK.

jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2008
[email protected] Light herbal, hoppy, grassy aroma. Pale yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, very floral, jasmin. Little sticky mouthfeel. Surprising. Very much a summer beer.

JDW, Dartford. After the Dartford Half. Pale beer with a modest butterscotch note. Few hops. Larger-like. OK.

Cask. Flowery fruity aroma. Clear amber colour. OK frothy white head. Quite distinct alcohol feel. Vinous flavour.
