Cask conditioned at The Dun Cow Winter Beer Fest 07, Hornton, Oxon. Straw to gold colour with white head. An Archers beer that lasts the distance, thats original and quite good it is too. A little thin for its abv and quite sweet, but there are crisp hops and a pleasant biscuit malt. An enjoyable quaffer. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2005
Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Pretty similar to the Golden but a bit stronger. Citrus hops, sweet malt, medium bodied, quite dry. Good. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2006
Aroma is balanced sweet golden malts. Taste is similar with some citrus hops making it increadably balanced and easily to drink at this strenght, with maybe hints of belgiun yeast?

Handpulled cask at JDW Stanmore. Yellow/gold with a creamy white head in superb fresh condition. Fresh grassy hop aroma. Lovely sweet malty base with a slight wheat hint. Gentle yet dry hoppy finish. Went perfectly with one of Spoons superb Thursday Curry club meals. leaparsons (10504) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 19, 2007
Cask, The Flower Pot, Derby. Clear gold with a small head. Aromas are honeydew melon with sweet hay. Flavours are sweet caramel malts with melon. Citrus, hay and floral notes. Resinous, fruity and tangy. Quite sweet on the finish. A bit different and decent. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2006
Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall. I have generally found Archers beers to be quite solid. Its just the sheer number of them that I find rather off-putting. This one is no exception. A clean and crisp pale golden ale, maybe with a touch of wheat. Citric tang and a decent hoppy bite on the finish. Nothing outstanding here but perfectly pleasant.

, Derby. Amber beer with a lightly vinous and malty dry aroma, and a dry, fruity and hopped flavour. Overall a nice beer.
