Bottle 473ml. Pours pale blond with medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is of grain, pils malt. Taste is of grain, pils malt, sweetness. Palate: Light-medium body. Medium carbonation. Refreshing. Overall: Surprisingly sweet, but decent : I dont dig the very low ratings this one gets.

canned; from Bier-Bienne - clear and bright golden beer with a poor head retention; fresh fruity aroma; medium-bodied, subtle carbonation and fairly dry, decent bitterness, light herbal and more fruity tones - correct

Can (473 ml). Clear golden with a medium quickly diminishing bubbly white head and little lacing. Aroma is of floral notes, herbal presence, cereals and sweetness. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet (but too sweet for the style) with herbal/floral notes, honey, cereals and light bitterness. Lingering grassy finish. Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Slightly creamy (?!) mouthfeel. Too sweet and not refreshing. Not nearly as clean and crisp as a good Pilsener should be. We are in the drain pour territory here.

Bought a 4-pack from a random small grocery store in Montreal. Pricy $19 for a four-pack, I feel like I was gipped from the grocer who swindled me for my Americanness. This is on the breadier side for a pilsener, but still tasty. Notes of honey, lemon and a nice peppery sizzle as the end. Muddier than most pilseners that I like, but very good.

Can 473 ml de Bière Shop - La Chaux-de-Fonds (CH).

dandeman (980) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012
Tasted on tap at the brewery’s pub in Lac Beauport, Québec on August 9th 2012. Aromas are light floral. Head is perfect with exceptional lacing. Color is dark straw and very sparkling. Flavors are sweet and malty with notes of honey to start with. Then hops are taking over with floral and grassy notes. The balance hop / malt is almost perfect. Sweet accents of malt are making a good job on the body. A high quality pilsner. The second best one I tasted after L’Amère à boire’s Cërna.
