Light gold color. Foamy head that disappeared quickly. Very clean taste. Tastier than the standard macro products. Good pils. Will drink again.

Tasted on tap at the brewery’s pub in Lac Beauport, Québec on August 9th 2012. Aromas are light floral. Head is perfect with exceptional lacing. Color is dark straw and very sparkling. Flavors are sweet and malty with notes of honey to start with. Then hops are taking over with floral and grassy notes. The balance hop / malt is almost perfect. Sweet accents of malt are making a good job on the body. A high quality pilsner. The second best one I tasted after L’Amère à boire’s Cërna.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 The Lure:
Bread crusts and fresh herbs. This smells quite clean and crisp.

The Festivities:
Affable yet delicate herbal hops and their firm green peppery bitterness. A little hay and a few grass blades are scattered all around, drying in the sun. Indeed, pretty dry in the end, with that forced carbonation intensity peering through intensely.

Loud laughter and spilled glasses. Simple merriment.

Golden yellow and clear with a very tall white head. Aroma is very soft and hopy. The flavour is very crisp and clean with lots of saaz hops. The finish is very fresh and citrus. This is a great pilsner.

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2010 Canette 473 ml. 5.3%. Couleur jaune paille. Arôme de céréale assez présent. Douce en bouche, elle coule bien. Belle mousse blanche. Légèrement sucrée, mielleuse et sans arrière goût. Une bière d’été de qualité.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color lager with a quite big pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light floral malt with sweet undertones is pretty tames though exclusion of any adjunct notes is welcome. Taste is also a refreshing mix between some light floral notes with a lightly sweet tone and some light dry hops. Again, no adjunct were detected which is quite satisfying. Additional hops presence would have been welcome though still a refreshing drink overall.

500ml can from Grand Duc and on tap at brewery.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with small head.
Aroma : Nice malt and citrusy hops with grainy notes and light honey.
Taste : Nice malt with citrusy hops and grain. Finish grainy with light citrusy notes. Faint bitterness. Nice herbal notes on finish.
Overall : Fairly good. Tap was much better than that. I guess the grainy notes don’t come out that much when it’s fresh. Tap was also much more maltier. Feels like that basics are there but it would still need a little work to get truly good. Tap would be more around 3.5 and can 3.2 so I avg to 3.3.
