Not really sure why its called an IPA... bread, hay, citrus, floral, Golden Amber color, clear, nice white head.medium bitterness, light sweetness, light body, creamy, soft carbonation, light bitter finish. The kind of beer you keep in the fridge as an everyday refreshing beer. Not bad, but not a real IPA in my mind.

Cloudy amber color with lots of activity and floating detritus. Creamy beige 3-4 finger island head, lasting around 10-15 minutes, with moderate legs. Flavors of orange, caramel, citrus, grapefruits, pineapple, slightly floral, grassy herbal hops. Thick fruity sweetness, while still sharp and bitter. Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Strong finish, astringent thick grassy feel, lots of hops, sharp citrus, and sugary caramel. Good freshness and pleasant to drink for a bold one, but not very accessible. Nice flavors, fresh grassy feel, good balance. Overall good quality craft.

Appearance: hazy medium gold with one finger of rocky white head, good retention and moderate lacing. (3/5) Aroma: pine, earth, pale malt. (6/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (6/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry bitter finish. (4/5) Not quite as good as the white version, which was at least fairly citrus-dominant. This starts off a bit piney, but then becomes more earthy, tending to muddy. English means noble hops, and earthy kind of goes with the territory there, sure, but this seems a bit muddled. Not terrible, and at least its got an unabashed lingering bitterness going for it. (13/20)

Tap at Le Saint-Bock in Montral. Damn, didnt suspect Id have an AB InBev from such a nice place... Anyway, barely translucent orange with nice off-white head. Nose and flavour grassy, citric-resiny. Veers towards bitterness, the sweetness rather restrained. Peachier as it warms. Nothing much to criticise on the palate... Mixed feelings. Not saying its good but it aint too bad either... Better than many independently brewed IPA-s in Canada.

1 pint can, not sure if fresh or not. Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves good lacing but fail early. Nose is of caramel, fruits, herbs and grass. Taste is sweet and offers flavors of caramel. Some moderate bitterness but not nearly enough. Body is medium-full and carbonation moderate. Weird syrupy mouthfeel. Overall it was subpar even for an oldschool IPA. Meh.

The bitterness is soft for an IPA, but the hop taste is present. Over-carbonated can and some sediments, not like usual lees. Its a good beer at a fair price which is easy to find in many stores.
