Cask? Or simply on tap? Quite dark brown, nice aroma, some bit of lacing. High level of alcohol, only faintly in the foreground. Lingering aftertaste on the tongue, not sure iI feel about it just now (25% through my glass)....Overall pleasant, not a typical doppelbock, which is a plus. Would drink again

On tap @ Craft & Draft. Old note. The aroma has fudge mostly, caramel, light herbal hops. Clear, amber coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is light sweet, light bitter has the fudge thing again. Bit sticky. Nice.

pours a slightly hazy chestnut with a small white head and some lacing. aroma of toasted malts, smoke, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruit, nuts. flavour of bread, dried fruits, figs. some alcohol warmth; sweetish, slightly bitter finish. full body, bready, you can almost bite into it.
