GoufCustom (2133) - HONG KONG - OCT 2, 2017

500 ml can bought at 7-Eleven on Lock Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear deep Cola blackish brown colour; Three finger head with crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 4 minutes; Excellent good sticky lacing with very fizzy carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of dark malt, with strong roastyness, nuts, strong caramel, strong toffee, raisins, floral, sugar, bread, thin lemon and grass; Medium sweet taste of dark malt, with fair roastyness, strong caramel, toffee, black coffee, floral, fair molasses, light spices, herbs, bread, light lemon, medium to fair bitter hops and strong strawy grass; Mid to light body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is good dark maltyness in slick background. Fairly nutty roastyness with strong caramel toffee-ish characters mixed with black coffee. Flowery with moderate sweetness, strong strawy herbal hops with light lemon to round. Pretty nice!... Hoppiness is floral, thin lemon and grass in nose, same in taste but stronger and with herbs and spices; Bitterness is fair for an abrupt, low astringent sweet-bitter coffee finish; Slightly dry after taste. Herbal and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has nice sweet caramel roasty aroma, and a quite expressive coffee and herbal hoppy taste. As a macro Dunkel, this one is nice and beyond expectation. Will buy again!
