jamestulloch (4279) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 9, 2014
Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy pale golden body with a huge white head. Average carbonation. Light lacing. Astringent aroma of metal and green apple. Dull flavour of muted citrus, grass and slight aniseed spice. Medium body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A simple, uninspiring Hefeweizen. This bottle is 5.0% ABV.

Cloudy orange yellow body with huge head that leaves spots on the glass. Banana, wheat, bread, and taste with some butter and a note of spice. Medium body. Aftertaste full of banana.

500 ml bottle. BB 24/10/14. From bierzwerg.de.
Hazy yellow golden colour with a big foamy white head. Wheat, yeast, mild caramel sweetness, mild fruitiness and mild bitterness in the aroma. Not bad. The flavour is yeast, quite strong wheat, caramel sweetness and mild bitterness. The flavour is not as good as the aroma is but still very drinkable. Quite smooth.

Cantabrian (1158) - Christchurch NZ, now Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 19, 2013
Hefeweizen with the expected character, including banana bubble gum and cloves. Aroma and flavour with an additional grassy and metal touch. Meh, quaffable, even flawless, but not too memorable.

2.8
Idiosynkrasie (7858) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 4, 2013
500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Wheaty, fruity aroma, hints of banana and pear with an ester touch. Taste is slightly tart, frowsty yeasty, cautious fruity hints of apple. There’s a lot of better ones out there.
