Bottle bought in Waitrose ’Bavarian Heffe Weissbier’. Colour is orangey amber, big foaming white head. Nose is wheaty grainy, sweetish, spicy, clove. It’s not a strong nose. Taste is soft wheaty, bready, clove, spice, orange citrous. Again not really strong flavoured. Body and carbonation a bit weak. Needs more kick. RyanE (145) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2013
Great looking pour typical of the style. Large white head, cloudy orange/brown liquid. Definitely wheat dominated. Lots of grass and straw. Raw dough. Dried apricot and Banana. Lighter bodied but feels bigger with the increased carbonation. Clean finish. Solid beer. SarkyNorthener (4562) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2012
Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy orange/yellow colour. Spicy orange peel aroma with banana. Taste is spices, citrus and yeast. A nice middle of the road hefeweizen. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - SEP 28, 2012
Aroma: The smell is spicy, coriander, clove etc, citric aromas and quite a lot of yeast giving a bit of a closet feeling.pivoveskotsku (201) - SCOTLAND - AUG 30, 2012
Appearance: The beer is rather deep golden with a brown tone, a white firm head leaving good lacing.
Taste: The sweetness is in the syrup area, citric nuances from oranges and lemons, the spices mentioned and some lemon and grape-fruit zest.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, lots of small soft bubbles. Smooth
Overall: A rather good wheat beer, possibly a bit sweet.
Note: Bottle, relabeled as "Somerfield Best Ever… Bavarian Wheat Beer". Earl’s Court, London. Reviewed 2010-07-25.
Pale, hazy yellow colour. Aroma of banana and bubblegum. Taste is slighty grainy, more banana and more bubblegum. Not bad and fairly refreshing. From the bottle bought at Aldi.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2012 Typical citrus/clove/banana aroma, a little detergenty. A tart citrus note dominates the taste. Refreshing finish. Not bad. joe19612 (2900) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2012

bought in Aldi UK, very nice tipical weizenbier aroma. bit of citrus and bananashazy, rocky head, frothy, cloudy, pale, lightly bitter, medium sweetness, good taste, drinkable stuff. medium body, slick feel, good beer, will purchase again StueyD (1582) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2012
Cloudy amber orange coloured beer with a thick white head. A little spicy aroma, typical of the style, clove and cinnamon, with a background smokiness. Then the expected tropical fruit element comes through, banana and pineapple. Fizzy mouthfeel. A dry biscuity taste to start, which compliments the spice flavours of clove and cinnamon. The fruit flavours come through with a sweet and sour balance of banana and pineapple with sourness of grapefruit and lemon. The finish is a little short and lacking body.
