Grumbo (4102) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2013
Bottle from supermarket. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Fruity aroma, wheat and caramel. Slightly spiced finish. Not bad.

davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle from K&G. Nice malty beer. Aromas of nuts and banana. Taste is sweet, with average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Amber, with a thin head.

JorgeLee (2255) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2013
Bottle from Kris Wines. Fairly dark hazy orange brown, poured with insistent sparkle and the usual ginormous head. Very fruity aroma, apple, some spice maybe clove. Sweet taste, again fruit to the fore, a little yeast, very little dry or bitter character. Nicely complex in the fruity/yeast, maybe seeking a little balance.

Great taste

mR_fr0g (13657) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2013
Bottle at home from Waitrose. Semi cloudy orange grey colour with a thick short lived white head. Nose is clove with hint of orange. Flavour is oats and bready. Somewhat flabby palate. Decent, but nothing to write home about.

The_Osprey (9343) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2013
Bought as Waitrose wheat beer. Can’t remember the first two times I had this. (Feb 2012) - a standard sweet wheat beer, nothing special, nothing complex, but drinkable.

Leighton (22508) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2013
Bottle at home in London, procured from Waitrose in Bath. Pours lightly cloudy, matte gold with a good, sturdy white foam head. Aroma holds some semi-ripe banana, crisp orange citrus, some wheaty dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with a pleasant, rounded fruit character, mellow esters, moderate wheat, faint hay and cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp, very clean finish, not overly sweet like some hefes, but not overly deep in character either. Restrained wheat, yeast, white bread, light lemon zip and banana, low bitterness. Very easy drinking hefeweizen.

EdKing (2655) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle bought in Waitrose ’Bavarian Heffe Weissbier’. Colour is orangey amber, big foaming white head. Nose is wheaty grainy, sweetish, spicy, clove. It’s not a strong nose. Taste is soft wheaty, bready, clove, spice, orange citrous. Again not really strong flavoured. Body and carbonation a bit weak. Needs more kick.

RyanE (145) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2013
Great looking pour typical of the style. Large white head, cloudy orange/brown liquid. Definitely wheat dominated. Lots of grass and straw. Raw dough. Dried apricot and Banana. Lighter bodied but feels bigger with the increased carbonation. Clean finish. Solid beer.

SarkyNorthener (4907) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 8, 2012
Bottle from Waitrose. Hazy orange/yellow colour. Spicy orange peel aroma with banana. Taste is spices, citrus and yeast. A nice middle of the road hefeweizen.
