Bottle looks really good. Like the Arcobräu bottles. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy. Malty-yeasty, modest dry. Light fruity notes of apricot. Quite drinkable. Okay.

Let uklar gylden med holdbart hvidt skum. Duften er domineret af græs og en smule gær. Duften fortsætter tørt af samme spor. Næsten ingen eftersmag. Frisk men ikke specielt vellykket.

500ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Cloudy hazy golden honey colour with some dirt-like yeast sediments; One and a quarter finger head with soapy white foam which lasted for 2 minutes; Minimal sticky lacing and quite fizzy carbonation; Aroma of barley and wheat malt, with fairly light banana, caramel, sugar, light tapioca, yeast, light cloves and faint grass; Minimal sweet taste of thin malt, with metallic, faint banana, light yam and tapioca, soda water, very light yeast and thin cloves; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is very thin, watery, almost tasteless, and soap water-like. When alcohol was taken out further, so was the estery, yeasty and spicy Weiss tastes. In comes the de-boozed off-tastes like metallic, some very light yam and tapioca. Oh dear… No hoppiness in nose or taste, just soda water finish; Wet after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: At 2.9% abv, I thought maybe some Weiss characters were saved for enjoyment. I was disappointed - just like other Weissbier Alkohofrei I’ve had, this is reduced to clean and white-washed beer water. The upside being it’s very light in Alkohofrei-ed bad elements and it’s completely drinkable - as soda water. Take it for what it is, but I won’t touch it again.

It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, banana and light yeast. The sweet flavor has the same notes, and is slightly spicy in the finish. A bit tame, but absolutely drinkable in the sense that there are no foul flavors...
