Gekregen via William 75 cl fles, geproefd met W.Vl. Genootschap op 28 maart 2017. Naast ’my foxy lady versie’ Lichtwazig amber / oranjekleurig met gebroken witte romige schuimkraag. Aroma: zoet, moutig, notig, houterig, karamel, alcohol. Volle body. Smaak: eerst zoet, karamel, moutig, fruit, zuurtje, rijp fruit, alcohol. Droog. Doet aan cherry denken.

25/06/2017 - tasting glass @Swafff 2017. Hazy copper, medium head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, alcohol, vinous. Taste is first sweet malts, boozy, some caramel, overripe fruits, some wood, sour touch.

kraddel (8603) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JUN 6, 2017
Bottle at the jacksonchandleradamdoesntwearhispantswhenheshould tasting. Pours rather clear, light brown to amber. Small white head. Smell is strong, wine, oak. Taste is very ’unfitting’ to the aroma. Loads of tannines, bit sweet, oak, wine character. Mild, almost sour touch. Not my thing as it was, but when it warmed up, it showed disturbingly high amounts of dyacethyl as well. Pretty bad and the previously ok to good ratings really confuse me.

Aminatchime (169) - BELGIUM - JUN 1, 2017
Heldere goud-oranje kleur met kleine witte schuimkraag. Geur is doordrongen van azijn en rode wijn. Doet tevens denken aan de herfst. Smaak is scherp, wijnazijn maar eindigt in de smaak van koekjesdeeg.

Thank you tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ "Adam Chandler Visiting (for real this time)" Tasting. Aged sample. Orange amber. Nose is big sweet orange peel, almost a dash of Cointreau, oak, very heavy on sugar, oxidized malt & some wine funk. Heavy oxidation, wine oxidation, vaguely sour, weird wine funk that doesn’t fully appeal to me but might fit wine lovers more, orange peel & sugar mixed in with the funk. Too flat, wine funk, slab of sugar for me. Expected a bit too much as well.
