tricksta_p (4651) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUL 20, 2017
Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is yeasty with ripe fruits, malt, syrup, sugar, banana, cereal, esters, soft spicy notes. Flavour is quite sweet and cloying with a light bitterness. Medium bodied. Okay-ish but not a great Tripel, quite sugary sweet and sticky.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A golden beer, light opaque, bubble ; yeast sediments (my fault...) ; medium white head with a good retention and lacing. Cereal, biscuit, caramel, sugar, herbal note, light skunky vegetable. Medium sweet, round, light dry refreshing, light warming baseline. Medium body, thin oily texture, average carbonation, warming finish. Overall, ok.

Une bière désagréable. Un goût de ferraille. Goût de malt absent. Sent plus l’alcool que la céréale.
