The head is ok, the body brown. It smells darkmalty, roasty. The taste is creamy, raisin, a bit plum, roasty, aromatic, a bit sweet. Overall ok. 11/12/11/11/-/11 Travlr (25500) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Draft at the source. Hazy amber color, medium tan head. Aroma of rising brown bread dough. Taste is watery dough and caramel. ogivlado (7948) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 8, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Nice amber/brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel and some lactic notes with hint of alcohol and plums in the finish. Also some strange acidity near the end (later it turned out that all of their beers have that strange acidity). Why, I really don’t know. Reddish-brown, light toast aroma with alcohol. Sweet and with a hint of toast but the malts are entirely underdeveloped. Bland as a result of tasting underattenuated. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Reddish brown. Sweet yeasty aroma. With dough.
Manages to have some dark malt character. Although best of 4 is still lame kit beer yeasty underfermented and annoying overpriced.

Draught at Arena Beer House, Kiev, Ukraine. Pours a dark clear brown with an offwhite head. Smells slightly of honey, malt. Tastes of a heavy sweetness, and a small bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, oily texture. Finishes dry with some honey. gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 28, 2009
The beer has an amber color, the head is a couple of centimeters high. Quite sweet taste with raisins and sweet candy. Not bad, but not the best bock I have tasted. larsga (7602) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2006
Small beige head; clear dark brown body with ongoing carbonation. Sweet bready aroma with notes of watery licorice. Taste is sweet roasty malts with notes of raisins. Watery burnt aftertaste. Licorice and burnt almonds. Faint bitterness. A decent dunkel; way too watery for a proper bock. (0.1l on tap.)
