From tap at DSJT at Cardinal 11.11.17. Clear dark chestnut. Beige head. Aroma and taste of sweet malt and dried berries. Good drinkability. Foffern (2113) - Bodø, NORWAY - DEC 20, 2017
Bottle at home. Two year old. Pours a deep mahogany colour with a beige head. Aroma of raisins, wood, cold coffee and leather. Subtle chocolate. Malty flavour of leather, dates, chocolate and roasted coffee beans in the end. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. A well-balanced bock. Malty with both sweet and roasted undertones. A little light on the nose and flavour. Tjomleif (291) - NORWAY - DEC 5, 2017
0,33l bottle. Caramel and some dried fruits as well as nuts, bread crust, toffee, brown sugar and a piney and touch of freshly mown grass. gunnar (10076) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 24, 2017
Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Kvadrat. Pours clear dark amber with a big creamy off-white head. Distinct caramel aroma with mild spicy notes. Taste is weak sweet caramel and toffee, weak burn from alcohol at the finish, mixed with some hops and spices. Nice but too much alcohols for my likings.

Aroma; roasted malts, forest hops, juniper, oak juice, dates, figs, nuts, blackcurrant. Look; fawn head, about clear dark ruby body. Taste; roasted malts, fermented berries, juicy hops, caramel’ish resin, fig nut date, wineous berries, maybe juniper - dark malted lingering finish. Feel; solid body. Overall; really tasty evening beer. [33cl.btl 8.0% BB:0 # [email protected]

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of caramel and malts, a hint of mild Christmas spices. The flavour is not quite as sweet as I feared, but has distinct notes of malts and caramel. Moderate hops in the finish, fairly well balanced. Definitely drinkable. tandembrauer (1714) - Stavanger, NORWAY - DEC 16, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours dark copper with dense beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, dark bread, liquorice, cherry wine, some spices. Tastes a bit sweet but well balanced by hop bitterness. Bitter finish, medium bodied. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - NOV 5, 2016
Red-brown with a fine poring light tan head, fair lacings.
Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, dates, raisins, wet earth and dark fruits laid in treacle with a hunch of trichloranisol retronsal.
Fine carbonation, rather smooth with a fully pronounced body. Sweet, bit sticky and clogging with a light herbalness. Lasting bit chewy finish.
More like a Doppelbock - ok apart from the off flavour.
