3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber-orange body with a thin white head. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of cereal, sugar, and fruit coming through. The palate is relatively light and smooth. An easy drinking brew. The flavor, like the aroma, is sweet. Malt, biscuit, sugar, and a fruity sweetness dominate. There’s is really no bitterness at all. Tasty brew, but I don’t think I’d have more than two in a row.
Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a hazy amber colour with a fizzy off white head. Aroma of caramel, bready malts, some toffee, slight red berries, subtle spice and grassy hops.
Taste is similar of caramel, bready malts, some toffee, slight red berries, subtle spice and grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, bready, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Not a bad Marzen style lager, nice malty flavours and spicy, floral hops. Not exciting but drinkable. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 11, 2015

Watery but enjoyable with some burgers or other food and some Sunday American football. Not special but not bad. PhillyBeer2112 (2850) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Pretty rough example of one of my favorite styles. Strange nose, showing some of the vinous like character you can get out of melanoidin malts but it was just a touch off, vague citrus character (not from hops), unusual earthy bitterness. About average for the style. Not as smooth and creamy textured as I prefer. Light brown appearance with flavors and aromas mostly of caramel malt and mild hops. First sample from this brewery, not quite sold yet.

Clear amber with a small head. The aroma is strong caramel, toast, and some noble hops. The flavor is about the same. Lingering caramel comes through on the finish. Pretty well balanced, not bad. arminjewell (9638) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 29, 2014
Pour on tap, clear orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought dough, caramel, bread, some grass, spice, touch of herbal notes into a hint of yeasty spice, some earthy tones. Taste is a mix of dough, slight watery bread, hints of caramel into some grass, spice, finishing fairly clean, slight hint of sweetness. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 3, 2014
Clumsy label, clear medium tea-brown, quickly dissipating oatmeal colored head. Grainy-sweet malty aroma with notes of molasses. Sweet, low bittering, husky, dark syrup tones. Medium heavy body. Grainy finish. ABC Liquors, Betton. PorterPounder (7965) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Tallahassee, Fl. - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy medium copper with soft light off-white head that leaves just a trace of lacing. Aroma has some light cake mix accents, a touch of toffee. Flavor is similarly sweet with some caramel accents, a bit of date-like fruity sweetness and some raw cake mix sweetness. Mouthfeel has a decent thickness to it. Much better than expected, Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUN 17, 2014
No bar code on the bottle. A clandestine beer? Whate’er...Nice pour, a deep amber body with a dense, sustained ecru head. It has a really fresh white-bread-topped-with-gooey-caramel aroma that I (a devout hop-head) can enjoy. Just a hint of florals in there. The flavor is a subdued version of the aroma, tasty, but a tad too light. No hops in taste or bitterness. The finish is rather abrupt. Not a bad brew, but the intensity of the flavor was less than what the aroma had promised.
