Deep copper to umber in color. Smallish taupe colored head. Aromas of sweet citrus and a hint of zest. Some undertones of caramel and crystal malt. Some flavors of light, light toasted malt and some floral hops. A slightly hoppy amber at best. 2/12

Argus Pegasus IPA has a medium, off-white head, a brilliant, orange appearance, lots of powdery sediment, throughout, moderate lacing, and no noticed bubbles. The aroma is of apricot or mango, white bread crust, and some other dank note. Taste is of those elements, with a dough aspect, earthy qualities, and a moderate, straight-forward hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Pegusus IPA finishes on the dry side. RJT Ahuth (627) - Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2016
Bottled. Has a dark coper color. Has a small citrus smell. The taste is weak. Kinda watery with a hint of hops. The hops taste orangy and grassy. If it was a bolder hop taste it’d be good instead of a watered down IPA. rustbucket0873 (460) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - JAN 9, 2016
Pours cloudy copper dark golden color with white head quickly dissipates. The aroma is pine, citrus, earthy, bisket, small amount of caramel. The flavor is sweet with cane sugar flavor and caramel, followed by citrus, grapefruit, some pine, bitterness to.follow. overall body is nice. Wish it had simething that truely stood out floydslip (412) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Copper beer with a thin white head of varying sized bubbles. Slightly underwhelming nose of grapefruit pith, candied orange peel, and hibiscus. Flavor is similar with a light bitterness for an IPA and the citrus flavors coming through over a slightly sweet base. With IPAs so prevalent these days, there’s really nothing here to distinguish this beer from the rest. Quite mild actually.

Bottle. My first from this brewery. Bronze with a medium head. Some hops and slightly fruity. A subtle and under powering IPA. Jrwhitney6 (502) - - DEC 18, 2015
Beer of month club. Pours a light copper with some foam, retaining thin white film after it recedes. Nose of citrus and pine - typical of IPA. Taste is kinda blah - maybe a touch of caramel going right into a bitter finish - not really well balanced. Ok, but will not buy one on my own.

Bottle at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear pale amber colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of pine, slight grapefruit, caramel, subtle grain and earthy hops. Taste of pine, resin, slight grapefruit, subtle like peanut butter, caramel and earthy hops. Medium bodied but quite an oily texture. A dry, earthy, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. Only a soft, mainly malty aroma but followed up with decent hop character in the flavour. The finish and texture are a little off putting though, it’s ok but not a good IPA. Floral and citrus aroma, the pour is ridiculous. Pouring a couple of ounces into a 20 oz glass provided me 20 ounces of foam, with no visible beer. There’s a touch of caramel flavor, with either no carbonation in the glass, or completely overcarbonated drinking it from the bottle. This appears to be an infection of a sorts in the bottle, or just a batch with no QA. Every beer in the six pack was showing the same overcarbonation. kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 18, 2015
Decent beer. Hey, paid a whole $3 a pint while in downtown Chicago to go the the Blackhawks rally. Couldn’t complain with that.
