Slightly thin, flat feeling golden ale. Malty bready flavour with a little plum and apple fruit. OK, but lacks punch.

macca147 (736) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 11, 2017
On tap at The Rusty Bicyule, Oxford. Pours a thin clearish amber with a white head. Aroma: roasted malt, mild toffee and dried fruit notes. Very mild aroma. Taste: roasted malt, nettles, mild pine and toffee flavours. Very mild dried fruit flavours. Thin bodied. Watery texture. Easy drinking, but particularly tasty. This is a bit meh. Not bad, justhe not exciting.

jjsint (3600) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2014
Cask @ The Castle, Bedford. Dark gold/copper with a smallish but lively head for a cask ale. Sulphurous aroma which fades to light herby and biscuit note with a hint of soft fruit. Taste is full and sweet with a bitter finish. I find the aftertaste somewhat acrid. An interesting ale, well-made but a bit unbalanced. Won’t be to everyone’s taste.

3.5
SaintMatty (7603) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2013
Cask (White Hart, Whutchurch) - Amber in colour. Apricot and biscuity malt in the aroma. Apricot and biscuity malt also feature in the taste along with some pleasantly hoppy notes.

3.4

March, 2012 Royal Inn, Wootton Bassett. Good malty beer with a refreshing vanilla wash and a light noble hop finish. Damn nice.

2.3
Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 12, 2013
Copper pour with a thin to non existant lace. Sour vinager aroma. Yeast, mango fruity flavour. Smooth texture. Little sweet honey finish.
