Peanut Butter Jelly Time Ale Think back to simpler times - when your mom sent you off to school with a PB&J sandwich, and by noon the flavors had all melded into pure comfort food. Well, we recreated that goodness in a beer! This light brown ale is brewed from five different grains, then aged for weeks on raspberries and roasted peanuts. Take a sip, let flavors mingle on your palate, and enjoy our PB&J in a glass.

From tap at ADT. Pours cloudy orange-amber with a full white head. Lots of peanut butter on the nose and some light malt character. Jelly shows up in the flavors. More peanut butter than jelly over all here, though neither is over-emphasized. Nicely done.

Smells just like a PBJ!!!! Wow... amazing..taste is much less convincing..little more bitter and much less taste than smell...low complexity and almost watery...jelly and crust taste but light...at kraken before SCAEP meeting

Copperish red with a thin white head. Very sweet Berry jammy aroma. Smooth bready with hints of nut. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hits the mark honestly. PB&J. But to paraphrase Jeff goldblum in Jurassic Park...just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

6/3/17. 16oz can from Craft on Draft. Amber orange pour with a small khaki head. Crazy aroma... kinda accurate, to be honest, but still not exactly appealing... peanut, bready, caramel, berries. Caramel on the flavor, more peanut than peanut butter, berries, toasty. Interesting.

Vile still. Smells like Jello powder and tomato juice. Pours sickly reddish brown sludge. Some jelly in the finish. Absolutely awful.

Draft at source. Strong peanut and grape aroma. Light toasty flavors along with breadybcrust compliment this beer just fine.

Hmm, to much jelly and not enough peanut butter. This beer’s too sweet, can barely pick up on the Brown ale qualities.

Can. My neighbor got two of these in some beer-of-the-month club thing he subscribes to, but he’s allergic to peanuts so they got handed off to me. Despite my love for all things raspberry- and peanut butter-related I was sure I would hate this beer, but I was somewhat pleasantly surprised. Cloudy reddish-amber color. Smells like a jar of raspberry preserves. Flavor is mildly fruity, but kind of overwhelmed by peanut butter.... but not the good peanut butter like JIF - more like that Target brand stuff. It’s fine - I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it, but I’m not pouring it down the sink either. It’s interesting if nothing else.
