Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. It’s dark brown with a red hue and a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and dark syrup. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of caramel, malt, light rye-bread and syrup, it’s well-balanced and full-bodied.

MoritzF (10018) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2008
(swing top bottle) Clear, hazelnut-brown colour with a big, slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet toast-malty and nutty aroma with notes of caramel and a shy herbal hoppy touch. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated and matured mouthfeel. Toast-malty and nutty taste with caramel and herbal accents; moderately dry and slightly bitter finish with nutty notes in the aftertaste. Quite a goodie (07.07.08).

Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2013
bottle (abv 5.4%), many thanks to kappldav123! Almost clear, perhaps slightly hazy chestnut colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty with hints of caramel and a fruity touch, grassy-resiny hops.

Erzengel (9082) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 23, 2014
* Old rating. 0,5l bottle, best before 22.09.04, bottle bought directly at the brewpub. Würziges dunkles Bier. Nicht zu viel Röstmalz, moderat herb, nicht zu süß. Lecker!

kappldav123 (6122) - GERMANY - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle bought at the brewery. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, fine spicy-malty, modest grasy. Finish with some sourish notes, a bit moldy without being too much. Well balanced finish. Nice!

Swing top bottle. A clear medium aber beer with a medium sized, mostly lasting beihe head. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel and toasted nuts and a light hint of hops. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation, quite long finish with about medium bitterness. Pretty good, not extremely flavourful, buit fairly drinkable.
