A hazy dark orange beer, very carbonized which gives a froathy light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges and caramel. The flavor is very roasty and bisquity with notes of caramel, that gives it an OK sweetness, but it is very well balanced with a dry slighlty bitter and slightly woody end. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2005

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours an almost clear amber golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel and....fish? Somehow very British. Light in body, notes of caramel, fruit and vitamin-C - and perhaps some overripe sweet fruit also. Very discreet bitterness in the finish. 160808 fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 23, 2004
Hazy dark amber color, thin head. Very nice hop aroma, dry hopping (Fuggles?), and some caramel. Quite ordinary maltiness and caramel, and body structure, but again a very pleasant hop note. The hop is mixed with a strong caramel note in the final. A good bottled Bitter. harrisoni (19170) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2007
