UPDATED: DEC 9, 2017 Donkerbruin met rode schijn. Stabiele compacte off-white schuimkraag die redelijk lang blijft. Caramel, mout, walnoot, toffee. Mild bittere afdronk. Mooi soepel, redelijk vol bier. Prima bock.

Según la etiqueta es una Dunkel IPA, pero no tiene rastro de lupulo, en su conjunto está bien, con un toque dulce y cuerpo denso

0.33 l can from El Corte Inglés @ home. Pours deep brown with everlasting thick, beige head. Chocolate, roasted malts, slight dried fruits and citrusy-bitter hops in aroma. Taste is dry cocoa-chocolate, hops and slight fruity notes. Closes with dry, coffee-bitter finish, and even some coconut appears. It has light body and is softly carbonated. This rating might be a bit too subjective, but I can't help it since this brew's very much my cup of tea. Not sure if it's a dunkler bock tho.

33 cl. bottle @ Home.
Aroma: not very intense aromas of caramel, toasted malts, malts, dried fruits like raisins or prunes, some spirit drink, alcohol.
Appearance: light to medium brown color, very light hazyness. Very light brown head color. Low to medium head thickness. Low retention. Low to medium Brussels’ lacing. Slightly creamy foam made of tiny bubbles.
Taste: medium to high sweetness, low to medium bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of malts, toasted malts, caramel, raisins, prunes, dried fruits, dark fruits. Sweet at first and more bitter (not too much) towards the end. Balance is on the malt sweetness but quite balanced for a 75 IBU’s beer. Alcohol is noticeable. Some vinous and alcoholic overtones. Very light citrus and fruits overtones, maybe light pine and resin overtones. Alcohol warming effect is noticeable too.
Palate: medium body, silky texture, low carbonation, quite long sweet finish with flavors of dried fruits, raisins, prunes, vinous and alcohol nuances, caramel, toasted malts. Hints of fruits and citrus.
Overall: despite the high alcohol level, it’s quite drinkable. It’s not my favorite style but it’s a good brew. Good flavors of malts, toasted malts, raisins, prunes, dried fruits. No much hop flavors nor hop aromas over here. A beer for malt fanatics. Maybe less alcohol would make it better. High IBU level is not very noticeable and is well balanced with a lot of malt sweetness.

330ml bottle, L063, bought at Gourmet Experience Alicante last summer. Spotty lacing from a beige head. Deep and bright mahogany body. Malt-fruity aromas. Well built taste profile of pine, bread, and caramel malts followed by a warming dark bitter finish. Soft in the mouth. Good beer drinking (Shared with Finn and djoeye, rating session in Tromsø 23.03.2017).
