3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is dark amber or cola color with a small tan head. Aroma is lite and malty a little like a Belgian double. Hops and bitterness on the front middle and end like I like it but the barrel aging make it a little softer and lends wood and bourbon notes.
12oz bottle. Pours mahogany brown with a barely-there beige head. Aroma is toffee, slightly watery bourbon, some raisin, vanilla, and vague wood. Taste is toffee, lots of hops (earth and pine), hazelnut, very light sweet bourbon, some oak, raisin, caramel, and a touch of vanilla. Bitter. Light-medium body. Medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is oily and a little thin - but smooth. Barely any bourbon presence in this one - negligible in the taste and only slightly more prominent in the aroma. sonnycheeba (6695) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 17, 2018
Tap at Stone airport bar. Pours clear murky brown. Aroma and flavor are vanilla, caramel, oak, booze, bready malts, and rich earthy/piney bitterness. Full body. drmet (1066) - GERMANY - FEB 14, 2018
-pours a clear ruby-brown with a small,frothy,offwhite head
-medium carbonation visible
-very small particle floaties visible
-high bitterniss for the style
-low to medium carbonation
It has a definitive bourbon BA note to it, but the barrel doesn't completely take the Beer over.
Not better or worse than the normal Arrogant Bastard, just different.
A really good Beer. BrooksChicago (1) - - FEB 10, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2018 Found this at a local shop in Roselle, IL. I don’t typically go in for an American Strong Ale but it came highly recommended and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this was. Bullit (4845) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 9, 2018

Pours ruby-reddish-brown, thin off white head. Nose is vanilla, coconut, malt, wood. Medium sweet, light tart, high bitter, alcohol gives it a punch. Aromas - charred wood, caramel, vanilla, coconut, yeast, alcohol, light floral hops. Wish it was a little less bitter, otherwise very good. julesxxl (541) - Cholet, FRANCE - JAN 24, 2018

Pours a clear red mahogany with a medium beige head. Nose is vanilla and oak. Body is medium. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, oak, and sweet. Bitterness is light and long-lasting. Started drinking it in an IPA glass but changed to a snifter. 12 oz bottle in a six pack Bottled: 11/19/17 ABV: 8.1% humpah (401) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JAN 20, 2018
0,355l bottle from Alko. Pours reddish dark brown color with slight head. Aroma of vanilla, sweetness, bourbon dark fruits, oak, rich maltiness, some hoppiness. Taste is quite sweet and bourbony, with alcohol being there as well. Medium body and moderate bitterness. Sweet and bitter aftertaste, not very long one. Barrel is quite present from start to finish, maybe too much? Gives a bit rough feeling there, it's been a while since I drank the original, but I remember liking it more.
