This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Can from Berlin. Pours orange copper color with a transient beige head and a hoppy, fruity aroma.

Rubinowa barwa z trwałą, ładną pianą. Aromat biedny, trochę kawy i żywicy. Na pierwszym planie konkretna goryczka, kawa, trochę karmelu. Na dłuższą metę dla mnie mdłe. Alko dobrze ukryte. Ok, nic więcej.

0.5l can. Hazy ruby body with a huge, thick and lasting dark beige head. Looks great for sure. The aroma is mostly about dried fruits like dates and raisins with just a bit of citruses and pine and some nutmeg to give it a spicy twist. The taste on the other hand is all about hops. Loads of pine and some grapeseed in the taste without the dried fruits present in the aroma. Only a bit of toast here to represent the malts. Could be way better with a bit of caramel or dried fruits in the taste, but I still find this nice. Its price is also very nice (it was brewed in Berlin and I bought it in Budapest).

It's a strong ale, for sure. Too much hop flavor for my tastes, there's no hint of malty undertone, just hops. It looks great, with the color and head, but i wish it was balanced better.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Pre-RateBeer review, so no tasting notes. 4/5 note jotted in my 1001 Beers guide. Will return to this beer when I get the chance. Had on draught as a guest beer in a BrewDog bar.

Pours a deep, dark red coloration with a small, medium, creamy, off-white head. Smells faintly of biscuity, caramel malts, toffee and red berries, with a hint of pine. Taste follows the nose, with a firm, slightly sweet and caramelly malt presence backed up by bitter, piney hops. Hints of chocolate, toffee, red berries and citrus. This is an expertly crafted and balanced amber ale that has great complexity without sacrificing drinkability. The balance between sweet malts and bitter, piney hops is exceptional with some nice layers of fruitiness and slight chocolate and toffee notes inbetween.

Probably the most unpleasant beer I've ever tried. And you lose points for being cocks. Perhaps there's a good beer in there somewhere, but then they added drain cleaner. There is no need for this level of astringency. If Trump made beer, it would have this level of self confidence and total lack of taste and drinkability.
