This is an aggressive beer. You probably wont like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

very dark brown, fine creamy tan head, nicely full-bodied with a bitter, hoppy start and clean, sweet finish much better than expected.

This was a favorite the first time I ever tried it. I still love it. Long Live Stone. Hard to believe I waited so long to try all the others.

One of my favorites. Good amber color. Very complex smoky, caramel malt flavors, excellent hop bite. Very aggressive as advertised, but well balanced.

22 oz 2004 bomber. Pours a reddish brown color with a thick creamy head. Smells of malts, hops, and has a little pine scent to it. Taste is malty, hoppy, with a slight citrus element to it. Very creamy in taste and it has a nice bite to it. Similar to the Stone 8th anniversary ale without the smoky flavor.

(Bottle 65 cl) Beautiful and very red coloured, clear beer with a creamy head leaving a sophisticated lacework. Roasted, nutty aromas. Lots of roasted malt and caramel. And then of course lots of dry hops. 290705

pint is a beautiful wood-stain reddish brown, with a 1/2" tan head that retains well and leaves good lace. aroma is very busy, with big notes of caramel and roasted malt wrestling with the high, piney tones of citric domestic hops. flavor is all over the place - every flavor note is on high - malt sweetness, roast caramel, grapefruit, pine resin, bitterness, leading to a full-on mess. way too thick and chewy in the finish, and totally inharmonious. just a car crash. this is not worthy of the intelligent consumer. there are a lot better big beers than this over-hyped ale.

Pours an almost cranberry looking amber with a nice tan foamy head that laced the glass and was present throughout. This beer really looked nice. The aroma was of sweat molasses with some dark fruits. The initial taste was a hoppy bite. At first it surprised me because the aroma did not quite match the taste. But as I drank this bomber the tastes started to match up a little more with the aroma. Some citrus with almost a molasses meet citrus and floral hops on the taste buds. I really enjoyed this one. Went very well with the chicken I grilled up.

from a 22 to a glass to my stomache. drank to much of it though. 4 22s to many as a matter of fact. great beer lots o hops not for the weak fizzy yellow beer drinkers.

Bottle. Pours ruddy brownish. Big agressive piney woody aromas, lots of hops and swet malts. More of the same for flavor, sweet caramel malts and woody spicy hops, and add a little peppery alcohol spiciness. Assertive bitter bite at the end.
