This is an aggressive beer. You probably wont like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

WoW an Arrogant Bastard just popped up right in front of me. And a big waring on the can that I might not like this. Ha ha it is surely a solid lovely brew. Everyone likes this.
A really lovely clear mahogany color with a fine tan head. Looks good and inviting. Fine lacing also. Quite moderate intensity in the aroma. Mostly caramel malt in the nose. Not that inviting. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Not enough sweetness to back up the bitterness. A bit unbalanced actually. Caramel bomb de lux. It actually kills the grapefruit hoppy goodies almost completely. Not good. Also some dried fruit in the flavor.
The warning was right. I did not like this.

Can from Salt Horse. Murky ruby body with a dense beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel and earth. Flavour of cranberry, stewed tea and a bitter finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Mega hoppy - which I normally love - but I found this beer to be, frankly, quite boring. I expected much more based on previous reviews.

Pours a dark caramel color. Aroma has some wood and toffee notes. Taste has caramel, dark fruits and some booze. Strong hop presence as well. Lingering bitterness. Very complex, very tasty

Pours dark ruby colour with full beige head. Aroma is caramel and hops. Taste is, appropriately, bitter from the start. Notes of caramel and citrus, lots of grassy, fruity hops with a bit of malt cutting through. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Not an overly complex taste, but its jammed full of flavour.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2017 Can. Opaque brown with a nice tan head with ample lacing. Malty aroma with flavors of caramel, dark fruits and brown sugar. It is like a good Belgian Quad with the extra bitterness of an American IPA.

Poured from a 16 ounce can. This was a gusher, really Stone? Lame. Pours clear amber/brown with a tan head. This is a malty strong beer. The alcohol is noticeable and warming. The hop bitterness is firm and helps clear away the maltiness. The bitterness lingers.
