What a wonderful beer. Tons of everything! It is BIG in every way. Dark color, strong aroma and a flavor that punches you in the mouth and kicks you while you are down. Give this the to guy who drinks Bud Light like it is part of his daily diet and watch him melt in his shoes. barak316 (107) - Elyria, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Nice caramel malt flavor and a cirtus twist to this beer. Well balanced ale and wonderful lacing. Stones never disappoints!! Threepwood (107) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 6, 2011
Red brown with a beige head. Great big hop aromas of citrus, floral & pine over some caramel malt. Sure enough theres lots of bitterness but I expected that this would be a kick in the teeth but it was surprisingly smooth, with a great malt backbone. Just a fantastic mouthfeel. We done get many of the cult beers from the US here so it was a real treat to be able to share this one with friends. BeergeekKorea (107) - SOUTH KOREA - NOV 6, 2015
Aroma: Subtle cherry and some piney, tender.
Appearance: Clear reddish copper colour and thin creamy head.
Taste: Some fruity sweet and light sour.
Palate: Medium full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation and abrupt malty with the Aroma. mattern33 (106) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle. Dark but very clear amber color. Good head. Not much aroma. Not as malty tasting as it looks. Not bad at all for a change of pace.

From 22 oz. bottle... beautiful caramel color. Medium head. Fantastic spicy, sweet aroma.Somewhat creamy, but a little strong too. DeadGuyPerez (106) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2009
Haha, fits the title perfectly. Red-brown pour, strong floral/hops in the nose. Flavor is what the bottle leads one to expect. Bold and hoppy, lots going on but not busy. HoppedHead (106) - seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 27, 2002
Taste buds get reasy for asn ass KICKIN! this is a big beer with lots of flavor, worth buying just for the comentary on the bottle, strong, malty, hoppy, what else could you want in a beer, excellent! slimjim (106) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 22, 2002
This beer is awesome. Dark amber in color, hoppy like a mother. At first sip it bites you big time. Second sip your almost ready. Third sip your ready to do commercials for this beer. Calling it aggresive still dosent do it justice. This is my favorite beer. You are not ready! mickblueeyes (106) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 5, 2003
This dark amber beer has ruby glints and a rich off-white head with heavy lacing. The nose is of honeydew, papaya and light clove. The palate is full-bodied and agressive with a strong burnt grain presence, clove and rich, meaty papaya. THe finish is astringent with tannins and bitter hops, but it is well-balanced by subtle caramel and tropical fruit sweetness.
