This is an aggressive beer. You probably wont like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

Intense Hoppy aroma and flavor balanced with roasted and caramel malt. Medium to heavy bodied with a creamy long lasting head. This is truely an ale with an attitude! Well done!!!

One of four beers I tried last night and this was my favorite. Starts off with a nice kick of hops. Soon after is balanced well by some malt, and what else can I say, this was a damn good beer.

Definitely packs a huge punch. Has a look of dark brown with a brownish-white head. taste comes in regular but almost immediately turns bitter...real bitter. This one hits hard and then makes you want more.

Clear, dark amber pour with a sweet malty aroma of medium intensity from a good head sustained throughout the drink. Very full-bodied and complex liquor that was almost simultaneously bitter, sweet and alcoholic AND with a nicely balanced hop/malt profile. This is a complex, intense beer with a long finish. At a recent tasting of about fifteen friends the general consensus was evenly divided: the ale clearly was liked or not liked by the drinker; no taster needed to reserve judgment and mull over a response.

Opaque, dark amber brown color with a tanned, dense foam head. Aroma is heavy hops, mainly citrus, some floral. Huge malts presence in the aroma. Flavor is moderated sweet, with a powerful and really long bitter end. Body is medium, texture is oily, average carbonation.

Bottle. Poured dark amber with a tan head. Aroma of malts and hops. Taste of caramel and roasted malts. Finishes bitter with a hint of grapefruit.

Pours a red/brown with a small amount of head. Strong, in your face hops with a very sour finish. It has a smooth mouthfeel, and left nice lacing on the glass. I think my expectations were too high for this, I thought it would be more than it is. Id take their IPA over this any day.

Pours a rich redish brown color and makes a thick offwhite head. Head retention is great and laces the glass nicely all the way down. Smell is rich and inviting. Heavily roasted and malty aromatics fill my nose. Flavor opens up bitter and spicy, and then the rich and roasted character appears again with a nice layering of hop flavor and finishes with a malty sweetness. This beer is so unique, the flavor profile is really unlike any other beer I have ever tried. Mouthfeel is medium to full and leaves a slight sticky coating on the throat, warming as it goes down. Arrogant Bastard is incredibly tasty, drinkable and in my opinion a nice session beer... cause frankly you cant drink much else after the havok this wreaks on your pallate.

Bomber. Poured a beautiful garnett with a large frothy, off-white (almost yellowish) head with excellent lacing, fully lasting. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, freshly cut papaya, honeydew, bread, some yeast. Moderately sweet and bitter in the fore with a rich toffee sweetness, moderate to heavily bitter in the end with an extra long bitter finish, somewat metallic, lightly astringent. Slightly oily, medium dryness in the finish, medium bodied, moderate to strong carbonation. This beer looked great in the glass and smelled good too, but for all the hooplah I was expecting something better.
