This is an aggressive beer. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth.

A lot of hype surrounding this one, and here I am, the 910th person to drink it. Must of been the plug in that highly successful moive Cabin Fever. Never under estimate crap. Luckly, this beer isn’t crap... far from it. It looked very sexy inthe glass. I remember it being similar to an imperial pale, if there was such. Very good, and will drink again to get a better idea. From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours a beautiful red with nice reflections. Aroma is toasted, caramel. Body is average, with limited carbonation. Taste is toasted at first, then quite some bitterness kicks in, an old school one. Finish seems not that long initially, but bitterness comes up when you least expect it and lasts very long.

one of my favorites; reddish-brown color; malty, piney aroma; really well balanced; bready malt and piney hops; assertive and full of flavor and arrogance

Satyroneto (389) - BRAZIL - OCT 13, 2017

Nienajgorsze piwo. A może piwo dobre tylko I'm not worthy?

PowY (975) - AUSTRIA - SEP 30, 2017
From tap at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, Berlin. Nearly clear, dark copper color with a beige head. The aroma is lightly hoppy (orange, pine) along with some honey, some bready malt and hints of yeast in the back. Medium body with a light sweetness and a medium bitterness. The flavor is light to medium malty (biscuit, caramel, honey) followed by lots of bitter hops and some woody notes.

Wersja z Berlina. Ciemnobursztynowo-rubinowa barwa, zamglone, piana kremowa, średnio obfita, drobne i średnie pęcherzyki, zostawia ładny lacing. W aromacie rodzynki, truskawki, nektar, lekki miód, lekki karmel, lekkie owoce tropikalne, żywica, nieco cytrusów. W smaku chmielowe - świeży chmiel, nieco łodygi, trochę melona i grejpfruta i rodzynkowe, dużo rodzynek. Nieco porzeczki. Poza tym słodki nektar, karmel. W posmaku chmielowe, łodygowe, słodkawe. Goryczka dość mocna, tytoniowa, lekko zalega. Wysycenie średnie.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2017 Pint can poured in Glass. An excellent American Strong Ale. (I admit I haven't tried many American Strong Ale's) Pours a dark Amber/medium brown. Fluffy head that dies down after a few minutes with a little lacing. The aroma was the only thing underwhelming about the beer. the taste is very robust. Caramel, mild citrus, malty, slightly sweet, and finishes just a little bitter. Best part is the message on the back. If you don't like this beer --keep it to yourself. Classic.

Moravius (1403) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 27, 2017

Dark amber/cider color; Medium body; Aroma of caramel malt, spicy hops, & some citrus; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel/toffee, spicy hops, and citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, a classic - very good.

victorsampson96 (140) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2017
(Keg) This is another classic from the Stone Brewing enterprise. Pours a clear dark amber beer, with ultra-fine carbonation, and a creamy beige head. Rich aroma of rum and raisins, fig and plum pudding, vanilla, smooth bourbon whisky, warm winter spices, and vanilla. A subtle pine and mineral finish. Smooth, light, delicious. Though the taste is slightly underwhelming, the aroma is simply mind-blowing.
