very light mouth low- moderate bitterness. But good balance. Grassiness is present. Actually this is creeping more into pils territory Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2011
Draft - the real name for this beer is Oak Organic. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw and mlat. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and light notes of lemon, leading to a bitter finish. The mouthfeel is flat. phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head. Hops, malt, and orange citrus on the nose. Flavor is also led by hops, with some citrus, grains, malt, and other fruits. Has an earthiness about it, with subtle notes of straw and grass. Light bodied and nice balance and complexity for a pale lager. A surprisingly substantive beer, I’d be hard pressed to find a better beer that could be called a pale lager. DuffMan (10270) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Arrowtown. This is made with a new hop varietal (Rimu) grown in Canterbury. Slightly hazy brassy gold. Surprisingly hoppy nose and palate, very flavourful with elements of orange blossom and tropical fruit. Beguiling and delicious for a pale lager. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2009
Draught at Arrow Brewery, Arrowtown. April 09. Tasting sample - Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, citrus and grassy hop notes. Clean and crisp in the mouthfeel, and good bitterness in the finish. An enjoyable lager.

Cloudy appearance, lemon curd in colour with bright white head. Interesting aromas of passionfruit, lemon and feijoas led me to think that it had Sauvin hops in it, but was informed that the hop was an organic variety called Rakau.
This beer was a crisp, quencher with the same flavours as per the aromas and a soft bitterness that lingered.
I’d have definitely gone back for another if I hadn’t been tasting the whole range.
