Tap at arsenal in wexford. Pale yellow and a nose of sweet mild honey. Quite tasty! Easy fun and unique compared tot he flavor of many typical meads. Yes, has a taste to it that lends itself nicely tot he style, very nice. Quite good and satisfying. I swear I can taste a little of that waxy honeycomb in this! GREAT JOB! Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this mead poured a very pale yellow color with no head and no lacing. The aroma was tannin, honey and a faint fruity presence. The flavor was sweet and tangy with orange, strong tannin, honey and bread. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing. Draft at Capone’s. Poured dark straw with minimal head. Nose was heavy honey, apple, earthy lactic notes.Tastes of huge honey, apple, with big complexity, well hidden alcohol, and a level nit quite at a Jadwiga level, but let’s call this one Junior Jadwiga. Good stuff. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Draft at the cidery. Pours a clear amber color. Aroma of sweet honey, earth, melon and a bit of glue. The taste is sweet honey with mild vanilla and earthy notes. Medium bodied. douglas88 (9789) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 2, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a light yellow color, no head (of course). A big saffron and spice nose. Pretty smooth, a bit of a thin palate (this is in relation to other meads and I refer to a lack of motuhfeel not carbonation), more floral and spicy notes. Of course sweet honey. Pretty nice. Some lingering bursts of citrus like ginger spiciness.

This poured a very very light straw yellow almost completely clear, with just very light bubbles of carbonation. Aroma was sweet honey, bread yeast, and light apple notes. Flavor was a a great balance between honey sweetness, and dry yeast notes, with light vanilla in there too. A tad bit vegetal but still a tasy mead
