Bottled, 500ml from West Country Ales, Cheddar, Somerset. Gold with white head. There is a perfumed, pine like aroma when opening this, this leads into quite an astringent note on the first tasting, flowery, resinous. There isn’t a great deal of depth but the flavours improve and mellow through the beer ending quite reasonably. ladnewton (2002) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2013
LIVE RATING: Bottle at home on 26th December 2013 - Christmas gift. Pours hazy gold with spot-lacing off-white foam. Fine grapefruit aroma with delicate spices. Deliciously grassy, fruity liquid with notes of lemon zest and spices. Hoppy finish with grassiness and savoury touch. Zingy mouthfeel and fair amount of body. Exquisite. Delicious, well-crafted ale. I recommend pairing with brie and biscuits. Really worked well together. harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2013
Tasting Oddbins London Bridge. Simple golden ale some decent white pepper hop on finish. Some grassy hop. Fine a_cross (639) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle; pale yellow, meagre white head; aroma is vanilla, oddly similar to their iBeer; the flavour has the same woody/leafy off character too; on the plus side, there’s plenty of hops and a fairly aggressive bitter finish; of the three beers I picked up from Oddbins sadly only the Monkey IPA gets a thumbs-up from me. leaparsons (10657) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2013
Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Golden with a white head. Aromas are apple and oranges with light pine and biscuit malts. Dusty yeast with floral notes and hints of blackberry. Flavours are leafy and dry with woody notes and light pithy grapefruit. Biscuit with some sweet lemon. Quite peppeey on the finish. Decent.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Poured a clear, light golden with a loose & fluffy, lasting, medium sized white head atop. Zesty lemon & lime charactertistics, some hints of grapefruit too, particularly on the palate. Quite crisp, fresh & juicy. Lightish but firm body, slightly spritzy mouthfeel finishing with a lingering dryish bitterness.
