Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a watery dark brown colour with a decent head that fades to nothing very quickly.
Smells faintly tangy and sweet.
Tastes wholesome and sweetly yeasty, very tangy. Despite this it still has quite a watery texture.
Overall a bit of a disappointment but ok nonetheless. jfb (6984) - GERMANY - JUL 8, 2011
(draught) pours a very murky dark brown colour with a creamy beige head. aroma of grass, straciatella, milk chocolate, hazelnuts and charcoal. flavour is mostly the same, with subtle hints of caramel and honeymelon. medium-bodied with average carbonation. downender (9008) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and banana. Flavour was sweetish, with more chocolate and some slight roastiness before a sweetish finish. A bit thin in the mouth.
