A clear golden amber bitter with a slightly off white head. A strong aroma of roasted malts and fruits which are followed through in the beer itself. A smooth beer with a mild bitter finish which promotes the fruitiness, which adds a sweetness beer warming the back of the throat making it feel stronger than it is. Overall it is an enjoyable bitter and a beer that you really could enjoy a few pints of.

Bottle. Dark amber in colour. Sweetish fruity malty ale. Fruity (light citrus, apple). Malty (caramel, toffee & light roasty). Lightly hopped (floral hops). Good malt/hop balance. Easy drinking. (2008)

SilkTork (5737) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2014
500ml dark bottle from Tesco. Filtered. Roasty notes, some mushroom and a bit of must. A bit of airfix glue in the aroma. Clean malt, few hops. Drinkable, but - other than the roasty notes - this is not impressive enough to make me want to buy it again, though it’s not bad enough that I would refuse to if the selection was limited.

Clear dark to medium amber with a frothy, lacy, lasting, off-white head. Smells of nuts, that combine with the toasted malt and caramel creates a smooth nose with some perfume flowers and a nice citrus hops in the background. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Medium biscuit sweet caramel, dried trail mix of fruit and nuts. Toasted malt with a dry medium bitter lightly hopped finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Amber colour. Aroma of dried fruits. Taste is of hoppy prunes and caramel. This is quite sweet. A good beer.

Colour is reddish brown with a white head. Nose is chocolatey. Like chocolate powder, bit cardboardy, faint hint of hops in there with a tiny bit of citrousy zest. Taste is malty, chocolate, touch of zingy hop bitterness, but also touch of boiled sweet. Dry on the finish.

Christian (13670) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2010
Amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, peach and marmalade. Sweet, but balanced flavour with caramel and marmalade.
