, oldbury. copper beer with large foam head. Faint malt aroma. Taste is malts and some fruity bitterness in the hops. Watery palate. Below par.
The Felix, Nuneaton, 16/04/13. Dense capped bronze draped with condition. Souring, Flemish-like aroma with rhubarb, farmyard, mildew and coffee. Dank, mildewed flavour like rainwater with a squirt of grenadine. Nut husk and tonic afters. Poorest beer so far of the fest: even blended with 3 other festival beers could still taste the mildew.
