Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Copper with white head. Slightly tart fruity but flat beer, some maltiness, a little boiled veg but with a leafy hoppy note. It’s ok.

Bottle from Aldi. I rather enjoyed this. It is an unashamed traditional Bitter. Nice bright ginger colouring, with brusque salty arome. Taste of bitter, British hops. Some small pith, but mainly crusty seashell sour malt quench. Spot. Hit. Yep.

Just what a great beer should be. Delightful. I don’t see not marking high when something deserves it. They’ve done a fine job.
