Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Black with a creamy off-white head. Sweetened stout with its coffee notable in its lingering aftertaste.

Cask Half Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2016 in Oct 2016 - Very Dark Brown in colour. Medium foamy tan head. Slight lacing. Very Malty; milky coffee, roasty malts, more coffee, chocolate, caramel. Hoppy; grassy hops. Bittersweet roast coffee malty hoppy throughout. Liked this. Very drinkable. Decent. (2016-10-13)

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol October 2016. Near black in colour with a moderately sized, tan, head. Aroma of milk chocolate, black coffee and toasty malts, with a hint of vanilla. Flavour had chocolate sweetness, some berries, a creamy edge and gentle finish. My favourite beer of this Wetherspoons’ festival.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A deep brown colour with a medium tan head. Aroma of coffee, some roasted malts, slight chocolate and subtle cream. Taste of coffee, roasted malts, some red berries, slight chocolate, a little lactose and subtle caramel. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A smooth and bittersweet, roasted bitterness in the finish. Big roasted coffee flavours at first but began to mellow out into a creamy, surprisingly fruity, easy drinking coffee stout. Decent.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2016 Aroma of coffee chocolate and cream / vanilla. Sweetness grows. Dark black red appearance. Thin head. Nice bite on palate and good strength. A lovely stout. Bitterness is not compromised by sweetness. All in all excellent. Will drink again

Cask at the Moon under Water Hounslow, deep dark red-brown with a tight tan foam and an enticing red fruit, coffee and cocoa nose. Initially creamy and roasty, turning sweet on the palate with a milky coffee note, then drying with a fruity and faintly tart edge. Delicious.

Cask. Aroma slightly milky coffee lets call it macchiato. Pours black with a tan cream top. Taste has sweet chocolate and coffee notes but thankfully not overpoweringly so. Medium bodied for a stout with a slight creamy wash on the palate to finish. Good enough
