COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special.

We’ve teamed up with our friends at The Wild Heaven Brewery in Atlanta, Georgia to brew a classic American Pale Ale using Nelson Sauvin and Sorachi Ace hops, to produce a stunning beer with strong grapefruit, orange and lime notes resulting in a lingering, dry, bitter finish

Bottle from Aldi, some initial sweet malt, which you wouldn't expect for this style. Then some decent hop fruit, with a good bitter finish . Decent supermarket beer .

I’ve had several bottles of this, probably the best beer of the recent ALDI promotion. Pours gold with a dense white head, Citrus and set honey aroma. Citrus flavour, lemony marmalade, fruity wine, and caramel malts.. Very moreish.

Bottle from Aldi Washington. Bright golden coloured with a thick white head. It has a sweet pine and citrus flavour followed by toffee, grassy notes and gentle grapefruit on the spicy finish. Very good.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear amber body, blotchy white head. Fairly sweet aroma of apricot, grapefruit and I guess it’s melon or nectarine too. Taste starts citrus rind, bitter sweet grapefruit then a bit of barley-cum-grain character.Long dry citrus finish. A good old thirst quencher. Near Wild Heaven.

This was a very pleasant surprise - unquestionably the best 500ml bottle available from Aldi. It has a lovely, slightly sparkling, caramel taste - and the aftertaste is clean and aromatic. Very refreshing - I’ll be buying this one again (and again).
Aroma: light and flowery; appearance: golden and lightly sparkling; light bitterness with a bit of sweet and salt thrown in; palate is light to medium but with good length;

Bottle. Aldi. Holy shit! A £1.29 beer from Aldi that actually has hops in it! Pale amber with a soft haze. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. The Nelson and Sorachi stand out straight away. Nicely punchy hop, with soft, sweet bready malts in the background. Touch of flora and spice. Taste is lightly sweet, with an earthy, spicy bitterness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Long, lightly spicy bitterness to finish. Really good, and then factor in the price, and it’s great.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, some lemon, subtle pale malts and slight herbal hops. Taste of lemon, some grapefruit, orange, slight coconut, a hint of pale malts and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A lot hoppier than I expected, full on citrus and herbal hops. You get a bit of the sorachi hops late on but mainly citrus and herbs. Good though.

Bottle, Aldi, Leicester. Golden with a thin head. Grain malts with lemon and pithy grapefruit. Mellow oranges with spices. Herbal with traces of mint and light funk. Hints of lime. Pretty good.
