Our fourth flagship beer is “Water Tower Wheat”, named after Arvada’s famous landmark water tower. Arvada’s water tower is also Arvada Beer Company’s logo. The water tower was built in 1910, and just recently celebrated it’s centennial. Water Tower Wheat is a Bavarian Hefeweizen (Wheat Beer). The experience starts with a banana and clove aroma. It is an unfiltered traditional beer that prominently displays the quality of the unique strain of yeast. The banana and clove flavor is complimented by the wheat in this well rounded, flavorful beer. Wheat style beers have become very popular with novice beer drinkers who are starting to explore the craft brew world. The ABV is 4.5%.

On carbon tap. The best one from arvada. On level with dry dock. Great, my favorite at this brewery. Hard to find faults with this beer, a must try if you visit arvada beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Banana and cloves. Tastes just like the beer I have last month in Munich. You should really try this one if you like weiss beers. It is not an American style wheat

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of wheat, grainy, grass notes, slight vanilla, honey, touch of grassy spice notes as well but a bit restrained. Taste was a mix of cracker, biscuit, some bready yeast notes, touch of earth and some slight vanilla, finishing with a touch of grass, spice, finishing with a hint of fruit. Just ok.

Taster at Brewers Rendezvous. Pours a thin, well retained white head, over a cloudy yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is banana, bubblegum, clove.....taste is banana, bubblegum, clove, quite dry finish.....mouth feel light, carbonation low. This meets the style quite nicely, and it is a fairly typical Hefeweizen. BJCP 7/3/13/4/6
