3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours pale gold. Head poured Ok but settled quickly. Slight floral aroma. Clean slightly sweet taste. Light body with average carbonation. Moderate late bitterness, low hop flavour. Clean finish.
Bottle. No head, watered down golden-ish colour, bland flavour and not discernibly different from the 51. The perfect Australian lager... motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 13, 2014
bottle picked up in newcastle. pale golden wwith a minimal head; dull wet cardboard aroma; almost no bitterness. lowest common denominator beer and proud of it floydian1 (1462) - FNQ, Australia, - NOV 15, 2012
330ml bottle @ Qantas Lounge Brisbane Airport. This is what you get when you "market research" a beer in Australia. You basically end up with another version of Crown Lager (ie. a sweet cloying Australian lager without much hop presence designed for the BBQ brigade). Likely to be served very cold to cover up for the blandness.

330ml bottle. Why oh why do these wine companies bother trying to make beer. This is an exercise in marketing and this is one horrid beer. ALLOVATE (3014) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 16, 2012
Brew number 34 of countless pale lager batches because 73% of Aussies like the style over all others, hmmm!

Bright, yellow gold and thinly looking with fine, streaming carbonation and a frothy, loose white head. Mish mash of caramel, pear and stewed apples atop a vegetal and tinny, typically soul destroying aroma. Artificial sweetener kicks it off with menacing carbonic acid plaguing at the palate unitl it becomes soapy just shy of the swallow. Bready and tinny finish with just a splashing of grass, apple and pear in the linger. Ultra-featherweight in body aside. It’s akin to Vegemite to think that our Aussie palates are used to stuff like this and that it doesn’t come off as that offensive. And that is why I don’t like it! From a 330ml bottle on 12/8/2012. Tried straight after their hideous brew 51. Pours a light golden/straw with a smallish head. Smells exactly the same as the 51, a barely perceptible grainy grassy combo. At least the flavour is a bit better than the 51, though it’d be a challenge to be worse. You can detect just a slight hint of citrus hops, and at least it tastes semi-fresh. At best, on par with some typical Aussie macro pale lagers, and probably worse than more than a few. tooter (8) - Geelong, AUSTRALIA - AUG 7, 2012 does not count
Watery almost tasteless lager which was almost unpleasant to drink, and left me with heartburn. Comes in a 6 pack with 2 different beers and I found this the worst of them. theodorereg (28) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 2, 2012
I got a six pack and now I don’t want to drink it. It is OK but with nicer beers easy shopping distance away, I would drink them first. The beer tasted over-cooked to me, beery tea, boiled leaves with bubbles. ando1712 (11) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 27, 2012
A slight nasty aroma.
The head all but disapeared before I’d even had a sip, it’s clear & extremly pale.
The flavour is bland bit like water with some Carlton Draught in it.
The Body is thin & watery.
What there is of an aftertaste is quite nasty.
Possibly the worst beer I’ve ever had.
The 51 is just as bad
