This little scounderel is an easy drinking lager. Subtle hoppy characters add a touch of fresh fruitiness but make no mistake this is a beer with bite and a clean, crisp taste that’s made for the Australian sun.

Bottle Golden, plentiful carbonation Straw malt nose Medium light sparkly body Light grainy malt base, grassy hops to balance, light footed. Not much going on - Follows the scheme for a Aussie pale lager perfectly I would say.

On Holidays gold blond-colored body with a white head and a spicy yeast hop aroma a spicy herby dry hop taste with a bitter finish

This one will teach me to question advertising/packaging more! Despite claiming that it’s "The perfect Australian lager" and wearing a high price tag, this is an utterly disappointing nothingness of a beer. It tastes and smells cheap, metallic and corny, and it’s aftertaste is just plain bad. I think it might be improved by a slice or two of lime and a pizza, but I’m not willing to find out. Blah.

Average Aussie lager at a premium price, poor bang for buck but pretty inoffensive.

Bottle. No head, watered down golden-ish colour, bland flavour and not discernibly different from the 34. The perfect Australian lager...

Hardly good enough to drink let alone think about and seriously rate. Absolute slop. Shame on the brewer but what can you expect from a quantity over quality winery

(Bottle) Clear yellowy straw with very short lived head. Aroma has notes of cardboard, grass and toffee. Thin and fizzy. Taste is pretty unpleasant, starts with a rather metallic tartness and moves to wet cardboard and corn, which fades away leaving quite an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall it is quite impressive that these days with so many good beers appearing that a brewery would set out to make something so bad.

Pours a pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is malty, some cardboard and maybe some bread. Taste is light to medium sweet leading to an ordinary and uninspiring finish. This is what Aussie drinkers want, huh? That’s depressing.

KeefOz (1892) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JAN 12, 2013
Poured a clear pale golden amber colour with a thin white bubble head that diminished quickly and did not lace. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste of sweet – too sweet – malt and no bitterness. Light body. Not a nice brew.

DeliriumT (543) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 16, 2012
Bland boring plain ordinary Australian lager. Very light malty notes but otherwise just a boring quaffable session lager
