Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours slightly hazy reddish brown colour with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dark fruits, intense bitter hops. Taste of mild bitter hops, oxidized malt, dark malt, bitter hops, pines. Erzengel (8703) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2016
Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle! Smooth and round with a dry malty body. Hoppy-floral, round and fresh. The hops are not too dominating, the body is a bit grainy but easy to drink. Hints of grain with a moderate but neutral bitterness in the end. Ok. rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 3, 2016
Brown beer with a nice beige and persistent head, laces on the glass. Flowery aromas, citrus, hay. The mouth is soft, malted, caramelized and roasted with red berries. The hop has a bitterness non aggressive but adapted well and melted. Notes of roasted cereals, spices and citrus. sir__v (2629) - FRANCE - MAY 11, 2015
Bottle from Sébastien @ home. Color: dark amber beer with small carbonation and medium brown head. Smell: roasted malt, caramel and bread domination notes. Not so floral for a black IPA... Taste: caramel and roasted malt. Finish cereals. Aftertaste: caramel. Really not a black IPA, it’s more a dunkel beer! TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Dark amber color, small off-white head. Caramelly aroma with some candy-toasted notes. Light bodied. Caramelly, very light hoppyness, oily. A bit like Scandinavian christmas beer. Not much Black IPA, too little bitterness.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Lightly hazy deep mahogan colour, rich firm head. Aroma of grapefruit, black currant and ash. Sweetish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Hops bring dark fruits and citrus, marked roastiness with some ash. Slight notes of chlorine. Mid bitter finish. Quite nice. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 20, 2012

- cloudy brown beer with a persistent beige foam; a decent hoppy aroma of quince marmalade; medium-bodied and with a solid carbonation; quite dry with a respectable bitterness, some astringency and a long dry hoppy finish with more notes of red fruits - not bad at all
