Had a few of these at food festival I was ate which Asahi sponsored. Light Amber yellow pour. Nose is faint floral and caramel. Tastes of similar light caramel, earthy, floral and cereals. Watery palate. kevinator (2226) - The Colony, Texas, USA - DEC 11, 2016
Drastically impressed. Faint malty aroma. Pretty amber color. Earthy malt flavor, slightly muted. Medium palate. Some hops presence. ordybill (1759) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 2, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden amber with a small white head. The aroma is malt and floral hops. The taste closely resembles the aroma and is not bad. An average beer.

caramel, bread, hay, earthy smell. pale, cloudy in color. medium sweetness, lightly bitter. light body, slick feel, soft carbonation, barely an aftertaste. trapped (3150) - New York, TURKEY - JAN 12, 2015
Bottle. Pours amber color with small foamy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, very little caramel taste with a metallic tint, medium finish. Not a very inspiring beer.

"bleh. notas good as the black. not even close. typical slightly-better-than-the-crap swill. no redeeming qualities, really, just not as foul as many of them." rougeau13 (3015) - Richmond, Texas, USA - MAR 19, 2014
Clear dark amber. Small off white head. Mild sweet malty taste. Mild caramel aroma. Nothing wrong with it, just not really much there. mansquito (6438) - Nueva York, New York, USA - FEB 14, 2014
A Japanese restaurant on St. Mark’s: Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma was basically grainy with a little bit of hops and sugar. Taste is like a slightly more heavy pale lager. I was expecting something more in Vienna land. Anyway, it was fine, but underwhelming. ronaldtheriot (1936) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JAN 4, 2014
Asahi Brewmaster’s Select has a thin, off-white head, a clear, somewhat bubbly, amber appearance, and a little bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, bready malt, and the flavor is of sweetness, bread crust, cooked carrots, and a slight bittereness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Asahi Brewmaster’s Select finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and highly chug-able. Overall, this is worth checking out, but it is over-priced ($11.99 for a six-pack). RJT ARMed (625) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2013
Pours with a copper red tint with a slight hazy hue. Minimal to no head. Palate is nice but the beer does not provide flavorful depth or dimension. Taste is malty with a slight tart honey caramel finish.
