Lata. Clear golden. Medium white head. Mild soft malty aroma with some hops to it. Ok mouthfeel. Mild flavour of malt and hops with bit light fruit. Mild low alc. pleasant brew.
Pretty empty foamy mouthfeel, then sticky chemical tropical taste. Not too offensive but more of a light beer imitation, probably targeted to anorexic models on diet... petewhitley (557) - Nagoya, JAPAN - NOV 3, 2013

Can (2%): Sourly aroma, notes of lactic acid and sauerkraut, citrus hops. Golden color, low white head. Flavor is malty, grainy, light fruity with notes of citrus and some grassy hops in the end. Not so bad. GoufCustom (1977) - HONG KONG - JUL 5, 2013

500 ml can bought at 7-Eleven at Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Golden urine amber colour; One finger head and white foam which fades in 30 seconds and totally disappears in 2 minutes, leaving a weird-looking glass of amber liquid behind; Zero lacing and notable carbonation;
Initially pungent smell of malt which can be detected half a feet away, plus sour plum, rubber and soda water; Low sweet taste of thin malt, with faint rice, grains, soda water, and slight hint of wet cardboard; Light body, watery palate; Taste is super slim beer-water with light rice, sourish soda and nothing else; No hoppiness whatsoever, not even a hint of citrus or hops, nevermind any bitterness. No finish to speak of; Wet after taste, very easy but weird to mouth.
Comments: I was hoping this one will fare better than other happoshu I had, the lesson learnt is that you should never put your bet on any macro happoshu. This one is beer-water of the worst kind, with totally disappeared head and foam, rubbery smell, malt trace and no hoppiness. US$2 for this can of swill? Fxxk you Asahi!
350 ml can thanks to Ingo! Seems to be marked 2.3% ABV. Also marked with 2013.01 and 2013.11, perhaps canning date and BB date.

Sampled on June 3, 2013.
Clear pale golden color, white head. Sweet, corn, DMS, compost scent. Sweet, sugary, minerals, vegetables, thin taste. Thin mouthfeel, very low bitterness.
Can from Yamaya. Mild cardboardy, extract aroma, with some sourish stink, and lemon flower. Medium straw, fine white head, and fat bubbles. Very mild initial, mid brings a sharp edge of bitterness, and finish is as mild as air. Thin and fizzy. Not offensive and more or less nondescript. jonno (2751) - JAPAN - APR 16, 2013
For 2.5% this is great. Good body, very hoppy for a major. I think this is my new go to light beer...and it has fiber? sold.
