Gangstergafje (1142) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2017
The looks of the beer are op and top pale lager. The color of the beer is a beautiful golden yellow. It is very clear. On top there is a nice layer of rough fast collapsing foam. The smell is simple, but not bad. Simple, sweet and slightly bready malts, bitter and a tiny bit fruity hops. Not bad, but not extremely special or strong. The same for the taste. Bready malts and bitter and slightly refreshing hops. Nothing more, nothing less. The palate is fine, perfectly average and just as expected. Light body, a tiny bit thin texture and rather low carbonation. The finish is short and a bit hoppy. All in all, an average beer. Not good, not bad...just drink it and order another one.

Can. Pale gold, fine white head that lasts OK. Meek aroma with hay and some very vague fruit. Just so vacuous on the palate - where there should be malt there is just a little sweetness. I suppose it’s a bit corny but really it’s mostly nothing. A tiny bit of bitterness at the end.

mabuzzer (846) - Hamilton, SCOTLAND - MAY 6, 2017
660ml bottle. Pale golden with an average white head. Very faint corn syrup aroma, taste is almost non existent. What is there is syrupy, slightly metallic. Easy drinking but not great

0.33ml from tap in Tokyo. One of the best representations of the Japanese lagers. Clear, light, sightly strong for a lager, but well balanced in general

60minuteman (1716) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 26, 2017
On tap at Salvatore Cuomo. Cloudy yellow and heavy white head. Three finger. Pale malt, corn, wheat, yeast aroma. Bland. Dry. Boring.

hynaris (8) - nagasaki, JAPAN - APR 18, 2017 does not count
Clear light and yellow color. Not much of an aroma. Strong carbonation, light in body, light in bitterness. Good balance.

gripweed57 (2463) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - APR 10, 2017
From old tasting notes. Clear light gold color. Big creamy white head. Faint malt nose. Light fruity malt flavor with a dry finish and aftertaste. Decent balance, though light in body.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle. Clear pale yellow with an ordinary head. Weak aroma of grains and earthy hops. Taste is corn, rice, grains and cereals. Sweetish. Low hop presence. Strong carbonation. Offensive in its inoffensiveness. Neither super nor dry.

the sauger (85) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 24, 2017
Canette de 500 ml. Arômes de grains et de malt. Goût de pale lager industrielle, donc pas intéressante.

radassace (332) - SCOTLAND - MAR 14, 2017
660ml bottle. Pours a light golden amber with a white fluffy head. Not much in the nose apart from a touch of lemon and some bread. Very crisp, clean and refreshing as a good Lager should be. Nothing nasty here, just nothing amazing either. Touch of breadyness and some corn, lemon and a touch of bitterness at the end. I get a bit of that dry rice in the taste too. Would choose this over most Lagers you get in the supermarkets here, but would still prefer a decent Pilsner.
