Clear gold with a decent white head that disappears relatively quickly. Little to no lacing. Smells slightly of hops and rice. Taste is not truly bad, there’s just very little of it.

coil (179) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2018
330ml bottle from Pop Inn, Reading. Light gold colour with white head. Sweet bready malt, biscuity malt, sweet green vegetables. Standard macro pale lager, somewhat better than usual for the style. The most interesting thing about this beer is that Tatsuhiro Satou drinks it all the time.

0,33l from bottle at a Japanese restaurant in Vienna. BB 09.11.2018. light yellow clear colour, very small white head. smells tobacco, breadish, grassy, peppery, lightly earthy. decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes bready, tobacco, some sweetness, caramel, metallic. finishes bitter sweet with notes of tobacco, caramel and some grassy notes. drinkable but not a favorite of mine, bit watery towards the finish.

DijkBier (651) - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JAN 4, 2018
Bottle at Korean-Japanese restaurant, pours clear gold with white head. Aroma ver light, malty. Taste moderate sweet and citric. Soft cargo. Nothing special but the citric element gives it some nice freshness.

hauxe (1015) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2018
Pours gold from the bottle. The frothy head makes a quick exit. Aroma is old sweatshirt, uncooked rice. Taste has a dry, flat, metallic light bitterness that immediately causes the heart to despair. The bottle immediately looks bigger, there are huge amounts of the stuff still in there. A hard day for the amateur rater. Body is medium, carbonation mild. Pretty bad. Even worse, there’s still another down in the cellar.

Butelka 0,33 l. Wypita podczas podróży po Tajlandii. Barwa wręcz słomkowa. Aromat bardzo nikły. W smaku bardzo przeciętne.

Cristobal37 (1287) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 28, 2017
Clear pale yella, head dissipates to almost nothing. Aroma is quite blank. Hard to comment on tastes since they're limited but there is a decent bitterness for a moment, then silence. No surprise it pairs well with wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, rice n fish. And for a thirst quenching table beer it's cool.

ryanscourt (1567) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2017
Not much flavor...very flat tasting. again, very similar to the typical beers you get outside of the US

yerffoeg (77) - Dinant, BELGIUM - DEC 12, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2017 Uniquement goûtée lors de rares visites dans un restaurant japonais local. Une bière blonde très claire qui se laisse boire, mais sans plus.

Weak watery dry pils. Weak, stinks, but that could be due to the overload of durian in the Malaysian street. Had a nice trip, but not for the Beers.

Asahi - 12oz can w Hong Kong sticker, somewhere in Seoul, but the same can as I had on airplane ride here. Interesting how beer tastes different on airplanes, maybe it’s the short plastic cups they offer, gotta try taste testing some in those one of these days. Great bitterness, like what normally would take generations to build up in a feud. Similar to Heineken but more dry. Nice hop aroma too, builds anticipation of what beer culture in Korea might be. Assertive body up front, like someone trying to rush way onto a flight, but then vanishes like realization that we are all going to leave at the same time regardless. Very dry end, or is it just the climate on the plane? Not a lot of foam, but it’s nearly frozen. If i poured it out the window, would it make a chemtrail?
