Bottle at home from asda. Ruby red, mahogany brown coloured pour with a fluffy cream head. Aroma is soapy, dirty socks, faint coco powder. Flavour is composed of woody, harsh tannin, berry, hot alcohol, coco. Palate is moderate carbonation. Powdery on the tongue. Pretty shit.

Not bad for a supermarket. Good aroma and flavour come through for the price.

Bottle Asda Coleraine - black with an off white head. chocolate malt dominates the aroma. Lots of roast malt in the initial taste, moves on to a dry bitter roast malt finish which really lingers. Mouthfeel is full and creamy.

500ml bottle from some supermarket - Rich mahogany body, thin creamy tan head. Nose is toast, chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts and smoke. Taste is a nice rich bitter and burnt. Bitter finish. A bit thin, but otherwise a great own-label supermarket beer.

Bottle from ASDA. Pours mahogany with a tan head. A pretty tasty porter with plenty of chocolate notes and a touch of spice.

Bottle from Asda; dark brown pour with a big frothy beige head, sweet cocoa aroma, taste has cocoa, a hint sweetness, some leather, ok for a supermarket special.

Slightly weak smell, coffee, roast barley. Nice porter taste with chocolate but partly ruined by too much carbonation.
