On tap at Colorado Plus poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and coffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light coffee with a smooth lingering roasty finish. onceblind (9708) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Tap at brewery. Clear black with a thin beige head. Smooth roasty aroma with a little chocolate and some dark roast java. Flavor was plenty roasty with some rosted black grains, a little dark bitter chocolate, the faintest bit of black coffee, and an oaty finish that lingers pretty long with a gentle dark sweetness.

Draft at Mercury restaurant in Denver. Called a seasonal special. Pours a thin mocha head, with extensive lacing, over a clear, brown (SRM 30) body.....nose is mild coffee, hints of chocolate.....taste is coffee, chocolate, cereal, oatmeal....mouth feel medium creamy, carbonation low. This is a pleasant enough beer but is on the simple side. BJCP 6/3/11/4/6
